A short note at the end of an AI synthesis says which of its claims were found by more than one engine on its own, and which rest on a single source. Pelorus computes the counts from the results directly; no AI models are used to validate their own claims. It answers the question a single search engine structurally can't: does this hold up?
Formal citations.
Every source in the AI answer is a result from your own search. The model is handed those results and nothing else, so it can't cite a page that wasn't returned. And Pelorus assigns the citations, not the model, matching each one to the claim it supports by how much of the claim the source actually contains — which is why they can't be invented. Complete them in Chicago, APA, or MLA, built from each page's own metadata: author, publication date, site name, URL.
